Hospitality
The aim of the Hospitality curriculum is to provide students with a range of experiences working within the hospitality industry developing skills for future employment. Within the curriculum, students will:
· Develop the ability to prepare a simple snack
· Follow instructions to complete tasks
· Learn how to handle money
· Develop an awareness of food hygiene and safety
· Learn to show resilience when in a working environment.
Communication is at the forefront of the hospitality curriculum and students will learn to use a range of communication aids supporting one another’s needs. Pupils’ independence throughout this subject area will be fostered and promoted resulting in confident, resilient pupils.
