E-Safety

Online Safety

Students interact with technologies such as mobile phones and the Internet on a daily basis and experience a wide range of opportunities and situations. As a school we endeavour to develop skills and attitudes that equip students for our increasingly technological society. To support this all students are taught how to keep themselves safe including thinking about the information they put online, how to keep their social networking profiles private and where to go if they have concerns.

Here are some Parent Help Guides to offer specific advice on key E-Safety topics that may occur with our young people.  We hope you find these useful and if there are any topics you would like further support on then please contact Mrs Vincent.

The workshop below has been designed by Childnet and UK Safety Internet Centre to be delivered to parents to support them with navigating online safety for their children.  It has been delivered at our parent workshop, however if you did not get a chance to attend, please feel free to check out the “Prezi” slides below.
