Pupil Premium / Recovery
Pupil Premium was introduced by the Government in April 2011; it is allocated by the local authority to pupils who are looked after by the local authority or who have been eligible for Free School Meals and it should be used by schools to raise attainment for these groups of students.
At Elms Bank we make it a priority to create opportunities for every pupil to develop his or her maximum potential and we look at every chance to recognise and celebrate achievement. The Pupil Premium funding gives us an even greater opportunity to target these groups of pupils, not only at an academic level, but also with their social and emotional development.
