Pupils with their art work at Elms Bank

Porch Boxes Charity

Elms Bank pupils have been collecting a range of food products for donation to the Porch Boxes charity. The Porch Boxes charity provide food boxes to agencies working with people who have little or no access to emergency food throughout Bury and Rochdale. On Wednesday, 29 November three Elms Bank pupils Umair aged 15, Jessica aged 15 and Morgan aged 17, visited the centre in Bradley Fold to deliver a vast array of food products, cosmetics and Christmas items. Julia at the centre was really grateful. The students had opportunities to unpack the food, sort it and then pack three porch boxes themselves.

Elms Bank are still collecting food and if anyone feels they can contribute further this would be most welcome.
