SENDIA Award

Elms Bank School is delighted to have maintained its SEND Inclusion Award (SENDIA), a recognition that highlights its exceptional commitment to supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The SENDIA framework helps schools to create an inclusive environment by identifying and addressing barriers to learning, developing inclusive teaching practices, and ensuring strong leadership in SEND support. Elms Bank’s achievement reflects its dedication to fostering an inclusive educational experience for all students, focusing on personalised support and active involvement of both pupils and parents in SEND decisions.

This award, developed by Award Place and compliant with the SEND Code of Practice, underscores Elms Bank's leadership in SEND education.
